The 2010 Home & Lifestyle Show to be held Friday October 1st, Saturday October 2nd and Sunday October 3rd is an opportunity for local businesses to display their products and services in a trade show atmosphere to the consumers of Dufferin and the surrounding area.
The event features: approximately 170 vendors Headwaters Shinning Stars singing contest stage presentations featuring local talent wide variety of food vendors Just 4 kidz & parents too....

The 2010 Business Excellence Awards were held on Tuesday May 11, 2010 at Hockley Valley Resort in the Montclair Ballroom.
The (BEA) Business Excellence Awards Gala is hosted annually by the Greater Dufferin Area Chamber of Commerce to "Celebrate Business Excellence in Dufferin County". Nominees are selected by the community for 14 separate categories, with each category having specific criteria for the nominees to use in submitting their nomination. Once all nominations have been submitted to the Chamber of Commerce, judging takes place by surrounding chambers; the winners are selected and are announced at the Gala.
The Gala evening features an exceptional five-course meal, live entertainment and the awards presentation.
The Greater Dufferin Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to host this prestigious event with the community and will continue each year to search for and celebrate Dufferin County's Business Excellence.
Each year the Greater Dufferin Area Chamber of Commerce sets aside the third Thursday of July exclusively for a fun day in the sun!
The Annual Golf Classic allows members and guests to come out and enjoy 18 holes of golf, a day of relaxation, networking and dinner. There are lots of prizes to be won, and awards for the top players of the day.
If you did not have the opportuntity to play in the 2009 tournament, we look forward to having you join us at our next Golf Classic planned for Thursday, July 15th, 2010.

The Education Committee of the Greater Dufferin Area Chamber of Commerce and the Career Education Council for Guelph, Wellington, Dufferin, in corporation with the Upper Grand, Dufferin-Peel Catholic & Wellington Catholic District School Boards, cordially extends an invitation for your organization to be a sponsor and exhibitor at Career Pathways 2010. Our objective is to expose the students to the many career opportunities in the Dufferin Area and introduce them to the quality organizations in our community. Your interactive exhibit, displaying the activities and careers in your organization, will assist students in making informed decisions for their future education and training.

Business After 5 Networking
The After 5 Networking events are typically held once to twice a month from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at different locations throughout our service area. This event is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and is hosted by a participating member of the Chamber.
As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to be a host for one of these events at your place of business. This allows you to not only get exposure for your location but also allows you to promote and speak about your products and services to all those in attendance.
These events are an exceptional way to network with other businesses in the community, by having a 1/2 hour of sole networking time provided before each host presentation.
Come out, bring lots of business cards, and get your business known in the community!

Dufferin Women In Business Luncheon
Every fourth Wednesday of each month the GDACC hosts a Dufferin Women in Business Luncheon for all members and non-members to attend at various locations in Dufferin County. This is a fabulous opportunity to network with other businesswomen in the community as well as creating new friendships and long-term business relationships.
Each luncheon features a guest speaker, whom teaches about motivational, inspirational and educational topics relating to businesswomen in today's society.
All DWIB Luncheons begin at 11:30 am and wrap-up is at 1:30 pm.
The GDACC office must recieve confirmation pre-Registration no later than the 4:00 PM the Monday prior to the luncheon date. RSVP's can be made by calling 519-941-0490 or by email at
