DUFFERIN COUNTY MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION MANDATE

1. 1.    To provide an active forum for informed and open communication between members of the Industrial community within Dufferin County.
2. To promote close working relationships with Municipal governments within Dufferin County Economic Development Committee’s and any other committees or bodies whose deliberations may have impact upon the manufacturing members of the GDACC.
3. To assist Economic Development Committee’s within Dufferin County in their goals of attracting new industry and investment to the County.
4. To monitor Municipal, Provincial and Federal legislation, laws, regulations and requirements with respect to the member industries and to study and act upon them where deemed advisable for the betterment of industry within Dufferin County.
5. To act as a voice within the community of Dufferin County by means of effective public relations and with integrity.
6. To promote and demonstrate good corporate citizenship through community involvement and by keeping the membership aware of community needs, projects, and issues.
